Biography

Wynell J. Montgomery. Was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and have been a Professional Musician for over 30 years. He played for many Musical Professionals in the Entertainment World in various settings and capacities. He toured the United States, Canada, and South America. I have made several TV appearances, and done recording sessions for various artists.

EXPERIENCE:
Since 1977 Wynell has worked with the likes of: 
•Billy Preston, Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, O. C. Smith, Lorez Alexandria, Nancy Wilson, Rich Little, Richard Tee, Steve Gadd, Tom Scott, Siegfried and Roy, Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, Chuck Rainey, Johnny Brown (‘of Good-times), Ronnie Laws, Beau Williams, Chevy Chase, Tom Scott, Joe Sample, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Mavis Staples, and The Rolling Stones. 
> In addition he appeared at The Monterey, Long Beach, and Dana Point Blues Festivals with Solomon Burke et. al., and at the Jazz at Drew Festival with David 'Fathead ' Newman (of the Ray Charles Orchestra). 
• Wynell J. Montgomerys made several Television appearances, such the Merv Griffin show, the Dinah Shore show; and Don Kirschner's "Rock Concert".
